We have a critical misunderstanding of public and private considerations. We handle our affairs whether with absolute trust that make us a prey to trickery and deception or with the absolute suspicion that makes us mistrust even friends and kins. Our consent or anger is not equivalent to our moderation and analyses, but the emotions control us in a way that lead to poor or wrong judgment. Of course our heritage and traditions are the main shaper of our characters. Perhaps the desert isolation is still there and despite of our open minds to the real and virtual worlds, we are armed with what we called “social characteristics”. Our society was and still is Bedouin. The emotions of caution and provocation are the results of unstable environment of the human power over others; perhaps the odds of facing wild life and nature storms prove that. If we compared our life to urban cities over rivers, coasts or in the wild, we would see weak tension cases; in other words, the reactions are made slowly with no absolute judgment on known or unknown rival. We must check the causes before effects, we can be provocated by a football team loss which lead us to curses and clashes, serious ones; on contrary, in the West we find the competitors are playing with no fences to isolate the crowds, and appearing to analyze the triumph or loss critically not with duplicity. Even the religious, intellectual and economical affairs are on the stake against laws, regulations and mind. Also, the inseparable pride and insult which are explained by the inheritance not the real world in progress. Even our big cities which are marked by ignoring woman rights, the guardianship of her cousins and the divorce of couples if the affinity is not matched, while we have the human rights associations which are supposed to organize these social issues not the Islamic issues but the ones we have got from traditions and customs. In hidden camera programs, you can notice the reactions of individuals and societies. But when we copied it from the Western culture to our Arab World, the consequences are a disaster that leads to use of sharp tools or fights. In Europe and East Asia as well, their reactions do not reach ours. We consider that jokes are made to laugh at me or at you. Here the pride complex appears while the situation is only a recorded game. We will get exhausted if we try to investigate our social and psychological life because the inheritance, culture and obstacles are chains around our necks and we cannot free ourselves except with a new awareness.
