On Tuesday, 15th of March, 2011 I was standing with H. H. Prince Nawaf Bin Faisal Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz (the General President of Youth Welfare) in Al Kendy Square, Embassies District, Riyadh. We saw 100 students from King Faisal School releasing 500 balloons celebrating the countdown of London Olympics 2012 after 500 days. It was outstanding and pleasant. I hope that many Saudis will come to London to follow the Olympics and that KSA will send a team to participate in that event. I'm sure that many Saudis consider London as their second home; so, I welcome the powerful bonds between both countries. William Hague (the British PM) wrote an essay about the start of Olympics: Only after 500 days, the entire world will follow the opening of London Olympics 2012, UK. The British people is ready to welcome all world athletes and audiences as well to follow the show which is described by my friend Lord Ko (the President of the Organizing Committees of the Olympics) as the greatest event on earth. Our preparations for this event are going in full swing; we're almost done with building the new Olympics Park which is considered one of the biggest parks in Europe. London has the honor to be nominated severally to host this greatest world event. We always wish to leave our fingerprint on Olympics. During London Olympics 1908, for the first time the athletes gathered in a tremendous group raising their countries' flags. London Olympics 1948 paved the way to Special Needs Olympics later. In 2012, we aspire keeping our creative tradition by organizing environmental and more inclusive games ever. Olympics Park 2012 focuses on the sustainable energy uses. Whereas 90% of building materials are gathered from the buildings demolished to set up the location, we plant 20000 trees which gift London with a new lung with fresh unpolluted air, a new residence for the wild and a park for the British people. It considered the building designs, open areas and public transports to serve special needs. This procedure is very important. I insist on providing a guarantee that Olympics will be valid for everyone. Till today I feel that the formatting of discrimination law against special needs is the most powerful I'm proud of. I felt obliged to say that we expect more than 80000 persons with special needs in 2012. This means an increase by 16 times than 1960's. We will continue to enhance the people's look to others with special needs by presenting wonderful athletes shows. As a part of the support for Singapore to host the Olympics, we commit to communicate with youth all over the world. “World Inspiration Program” aims at providing opportunities for 12 million children in 20 countries with high quality physical fitness training. Until now, the Program reaches 7 million children all over the world. More than 300 schools in UK establish partnerships with others in the world to gather them all. All the districts will welcome the visitors in the training camps before the Olympics. And the Olympic torch will light a tour around British Islands formulated with the spirit of sports all over the country. This tour will travel in 95% of UK in an hour with concerts and interesting shows in each station. We consider hosting this event a part of the British culture in the last 4 years as there are many cultural projects in art, movies, music and museums that will provide opportunities for all to participate in the celebrations like Arts Festival which continue for 12 weeks in summer 2012. As the British PM, I invite all of you to follow UK during this important event in order to prove that it's the best country to live in, visit and do business.
