Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is also Deputy Executive President of Arab Olympic National Committees Union and the assigned to run the union's affairs, chaired a meeting of the Executive Bureau of the union in Jeddah today.During the meeting, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz was appointed President of the Union unopposed. Major amendments were made to the unified statute and the union's statute as well as the Arab Sports Games basic regulations. The Arab Sports Games, previously scheduled for November 11-25, 2011 in Qatar, were reshuffled to December 9-23, 2011, upon the host's proposal. Leading portfolios of the Union's committees were also filled. The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Union will be held in Jeddah tomorrow.
