The 24th International Book Fair has been inaugurated in the Syrian capital, Damascus, with participation by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Ministry of Culture and Information, and 11 governmental and private bodies as well as Saudi, Arab and foreign publishing houses. 24 countries are participating in the book fair including 13 Arab and 11 foreign countries as well as 32 bodies and organizations.
