Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for External Trade Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Homoudi and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation Husham Sharaf co-opened in Sanaa today the Saudi Trade Promotion Office. Members of the Saudi side in the Preparatory Committee of the Saudi Yemeni Coordination Council also attended the event. Addressing the gathering, Al-Homoudi said the move reflects the extent of the interest of the Saudi and Yemeni leaderships in promoting commercial relations between the two countries. He said the office is a fruit of the efforts of the Saudi Yemeni Coordination Council, under the auspices of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. Among the priorities of the office is to promote commercial relations between the two countries and supervise the welfare of Saudi and Yemeni businessmen. Both the Saudi ambassador to Yemen Ali bin Mohammed Al-Hamdan and the Yemeni ambassador to the Kingdom Mohammed Ali Mohsen Al-Ahwal made remarks on the event.
