There exists scope for the export of Pakistani rice to Bangladesh because of a huge demand of the commodity there, Bangladesh High Commissioner (ambassador) to Pakistan Mrs. Yasmeem Murshid said. She told the reporters that the bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Pakistan was to the tune of 330 million dollars. Mrs Murshid said that her efforts would be to enhance this to one billion dollars. She asked the Pakistani businessmen and traders to explore the investment opportunities in Bangladesh. She said that Bangladesh may consider establishment of a separate export processing zone for the Pakistani businessmen.
