The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, who is also the President of The Supreme Council of Holy Quran Memorization Societies, laid here on Saturday evening the foundation stone for the project of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Charitable Women's Complex for The Holy Quran Memorization. The ceremony was attended by the Grand Mufti of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and President of Council of Senior Scholars and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh. In his speech, the Grand Mufti said that The Society for Memorization of the Holy Quran in Taif has been one of the best societies for its continuing activities, appreciating its role and care for 30,000 girls and 26,000 youths since its inception. Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh prayed to Allah Almighty to crown the King's efforts with all success and to reward him greatly for this benevolent project. On his part, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance expressed his thanks to the King, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for their support and attention to Charitable Societies for Memorization of the Holy Quran, pointing to the King's recent decree which supports these societies with SR 200 million, describing the King's project as one of the benevolent actions of endowments.
