A 55-year-old pro-reform protester died in hospital in Amman on Friday, medics told AFP, without specifying the cause of death."Khairy Saad Jamil, 55, died today at the Prince Hamzeh Hospital. He was martyred," said the medical source, declining to give more details. It was the first death since the outbreak of pro-reform protests in Jordan three months ago.More than 100 people were injured Friday as pro-reform protesters and government supporters clashed in Amman, prompting police to use water cannons to disperse them. Anti-riot police also broke up a protest camp for students and arrested several of them, a security official told AFP. "The number of injured has increased to 130," another medical source said.
